The use of background images on WordPress sites has become increasingly popular recently.  Whether it be a company or business logo, or a favorite vacation picture, in most cases it can easily be added to your WordPress site.

Download the plugin here and save to your local computer.

Install Plugin

From the left-hand navigation menu in WordPress:

1. Go to Plugins>Add New.
2. Click on Upload.
3. Click Browse, find the zip file, then click Install Now.
4. Click Activate Plugin.

Apply a Full Screen Background Image

Once the plugin has been activated:

1. Go to Appearance > Fullscreen BG Image.
2. Click Choose Image.
3. Either upload an image from your computer, or choose one from the WordPress Media Library.
   1. Set Alignment to None.
   2. Set Size to Large.
   3. Click Insert into post.
4. Once the image is uploaded, a confirmation screen will appear, allowing a preview of the image.
5. Click Save Options.

You will now see the image you chose to use for the background when you view your site.
